Mindrink is not a tracker built around arbitrary colours or random limits chosen to make the numbers feel reassuring. We use science and research to guide what we calculate, how we present it and what we say—and we show the sources behind those choices.
Our goal is to ground every important choice in the best available evidence, and to be clear when evidence is incomplete.
The science behind Mindrink
Our methodology is the main scientific reference for the product. It explains the equations behind alcohol units and pure alcohol, how different national standards compare, how weekly patterns are interpreted, and where the evidence has limits.
A primary-research series
We are also curious about the wider science and history of alcohol: how humans discovered it, made it, shared it and tried to understand it. That curiosity became The Origins of Alcohol—a long-form series grounded in primary research papers, with the sources open to every reader.
